India is a place that lights up all the senses... the colors that pop around every corner, the spices that dance on your tongue, the history that feels larger than life. On this 10-day girls’ trip, we’ll do it all: get lost in Delhi’s buzzing bazaars, ride camels into a desert sunset, zipline over the Blue City, whip up a homemade meal with a local family in Jaipur, and watch the Taj Mahal glow at sunrise (yes, it’s as magical as it sounds 🥹✨). This isn’t just sightseeing... it’s sisterhood, belly laughs, and memories that will sparkle long after we’ve unpacked our bags - all in a country that has become one of my FAVORITES, and soon, maybe yours too.

travel itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Delhi!
Touch down in India’s buzzing capital city! After settling into our boutique hotel, we’ll kick things off with a cozy group dinner nearby. It’s the perfect chance to shake off the jet lag, settle in, and start connecting with the amazing women you’ll be traveling with. ✨
Day 2 – Delhi Delights
We’ll dive into the city with a guided tour of Old Delhi - think colorful spice markets, rickshaw rides, and a foodie adventure through local street eats. Along the way, we’ll see some of Delhi’s most iconic landmarks, blending ancient history with modern charm.
Day 3 – Desert Dreams in Manvar
This morning we’ll fly west and head into the desert. Get ready for a magical stay in luxury tents under the stars, complete with a camel ride across the dunes at sunset. It’s a bucket-list moment that feels straight out of a movie. 🐪🌅
Day 4 – Into the Blue City (Jodhpur)
We’ll make our way to Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City. Wander through winding blue-painted alleys, and in the afternoon, zipline high above Mehrangarh Fort for epic views and serious thrills.
Day 5 – Exploring Jodhpur
A full day to soak up the vibes of this vibrant city! We’ll explore palaces, forts, and markets, with plenty of time for shopping colorful textiles and sipping on spiced chai.
Day 6 – Jaipur Bound
Hop on a train to the “Pink City” of Jaipur. After checking into our boutique hotel, we’ll enjoy a relaxed evening exploring local shops or unwinding before the adventures ahead. 🚂🌸
Day 7 – Palaces & Cooking in Jaipur
We’ll spend the day exploring Jaipur’s iconic sights - think Amber Fort, City Palace, and the Hawa Mahal. Later, we’ll head to a local home for a hands-on cooking class, whipping up traditional dishes side-by-side with our host.
Day 8 – Jaipur Gems
Another day to discover Jaipur’s charm! Whether it’s browsing jewelry and handicrafts, capturing Insta-worthy spots, or soaking up the art scene, there’s no shortage of color and culture here. In the evening, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a block printing workshop - learning this traditional Rajasthani art form and creating our own beautiful prints to take home as a one-of-a-kind souvenir. 🎨🌸
Day 9 – Agra & the Taj Mahal
We’ll road trip to Agra, home of the world’s most famous monument to love. Get a good night’s sleep - we’ll be waking up early for a once-in-a-lifetime Taj Mahal sunrise tomorrow.
Day 10 – Sunrise at the Taj & Farewell
Our journey ends on the highest of notes: watching the Taj Mahal glow at sunrise, with a local guide bringing the history to life. Afterward, we’ll drive back to Delhi where we’ll say our goodbyes (and start planning our reunion trip 😉).

meet your host <3
Hi! I'm Mackenzie, AKA Girl Going Travel.
I'm creating a life filled with travel in my twenties, with no plans of stopping anytime soon. In the past year, I've solo-traveled to over twenty countries! 🤩 Along the way, I started sharing my journey online, and Girl Going Travel was born.
I've received countless messages along the way from women who dream of bringing more travel into their life, but are afraid to do it on their own, or simply don't know where to start. It's my mission to not only empower women to step outside of their comfort zones and discover new parts of the world, but to provide safe, guided, curated, and unforgettable opportunities for us to do it together.
I'm passionate about experiencing new cultures, embarking on exciting adventures, uplifting and empowering myself and others, and that is the very essence of this group trip!
meet your guides!

frequently asked questions
✨ THE EXPERIENCE When does the adventure begin? Our India journey begins Saturday, January 24, 2026 in Delhi and ends Monday, February 2, 2026. You should plan to arrive on January 24th, and depart in the evening on February 2nd. If you would like to arrive a day early or leave a day later, our partner agency India Someday can help you arrange this, just let us know via email hello@girlgoingtravel.com. Where will we be staying? Think charming boutique hotels, unique heritage stays, and even a magical desert camp that showcase India’s incredible hospitality. Expect comfortable, locally inspired accommodations at each stop (Delhi, Manvar desert camp, Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Agra). All rooms are double occupancy, so you’ll be paired with another amazing woman from the group. In some heritage hotels, the traditional style of the rooms means that a large bed may need to be shared with your roommate - this is part of the authentic experience of staying in historic Indian properties. Can I request a single room? Single room supplements will be available on a limited, first-come first-serve basis for an additional fee. Please email at hello@girlgoingtravel.com for more information if you’re interested in this. What’s the weather like? Late January and early February are some of the best weeks to visit India. Days are sunny and mild (65–75°F), perfect for exploring palaces, forts, and markets, while evenings can be cooler—especially in the desert—so pack a cozy layer or two. Can I come solo? Absolutely! Most women come solo. This trip is designed to help you instantly feel welcome - like you’re traveling with a group of friends you just haven’t met yet. 🗺 THE LOGISTICS Are flights included? No, flights aren’t included. You’ll book your own ticket to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi, where the adventure begins and ends. Do I need a visa? Yes. U.S. citizens (and most other nationalities) must apply online for an Indian eVisa before travel. The process is simple and can be done entirely online - just don’t leave it to the last minute! Is travel insurance required? Travel insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Choose a policy that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost luggage. Trust us, it’s worth it for peace of mind. How do I sign up? Click Apply Now and complete the trip application form. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive an email with next steps to confirm your spot and make your payment. Can I get a refund if I cancel? You’ll have until October 20, 2025 to cancel for a refund of any payments made (minus the $300 nonrefundable deposit). After October 20, all payments are nonrefundable due to the limited spots and advance planning involved.
cancellation policy + terms
A $300 deposit is required to secure your spot on this trip and is nonrefundable. If you need to cancel, you’ll have until October 20, 2025 to receive a refund of any additional payments made (minus the deposit). After October 20, 2025, all payments become nonrefundable, as reservations and group arrangements will already be confirmed at that stage. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected circumstances!
